If you need to get a hold of me here are my preferred methods of communication:
1. Student initiated conversation
2. Student initiated email
3. Parent use of Remind/ or parent initiated email
Obviously, different concerns, reasons for communication, and time sensitivity will jumble up that list a bit but please note that I think it is very valuable for children at this age to advocate for themselves as they start to learn their place in the world and develop more and more relationships with adults. A popular and effective technique that parents have used in the past is to just email me a heads-up that a student will be bringing up an issue (so that the parent can be in the loop regarding the response).
**I make it a habit to respond to all emails within 24 hrs (the latest) and check and typically respond to email at the end of each school day.

If you're not familiar with Remind it is a valuable tool. It is the easiest way for teachers to send messages to large groups (i.e. reminder of test coming up) and it is an easy (and anonymous) way for parents to contact teachers...either through your email or phone (text messages) but your number will remain hidden.
